I  get the message: "X" days left restart CNCkey

First, You will need to stop and then restart the CNCKey.exe
-- Check task manager and be sure that the cnckey is not running
-- Restart the cnckey from your desktop or the start menu
-- The hour glass will come up and flash, and then go away

If at this point your are still getting the same message when you log in:
-- Right click on the cnckey icon and select properties
-- Be sure that the shortcut is pointing to the correct drive and directory

I have one work stations that gets the message Invalid Key
* You will need to check the date on the system that is receiving the error (the time can be different on the systems, but the date must match on all systems)
 
* Check the shortcut properties, to be sure that you are launching the correct executable (the shortcut must be pointing to the correct drive and directory)

All of my workstations get the Invalid Key
* If you have recently moved the key to a different system, or from a Windows XP or Vista system, click here.
 
* Be sure that the hard key is on one of the comptuers within the system
 
* If there is a printer, zip drive, or other hardware hooked up to the hard key
-- Check to be sure that the printer is turned on
-- Try unplugging the printer (or other hardware) from the key
 
* Check the printer port by moving the key to another computer
 
* There could also be a problem with the network rights

The CNCKEY won't run on my Windows XP System
* You need to do an XP key setup on the computer
-- Download the XPkey.zip file
-- Retrieve XP key Instructions
 
* If the key has previously been running on your system and has only recently faulted - or if you have a printer connected to the key:
-- Check to be sure that the printer is turned on
-- Try unplugging the printer from the key
-- Be sure that the hard key is on the computer
-- Check the printer port, by moving the key to another computer that has a Windows XP or Vista operating system

IF the key works on another computer then run the keysetup on your XP system again
